There are several ways to use Picbox. These are briefly explained here.
The organiser has the possibility to print out PDF files for his own use and to post them. Or distribute task cards. Both task cards and event notices have a QR code that can be scanned.
If you scan the QR code of an event, you will be taken to the event's details page. There, in addition to the data of the event, you will also find a list of tasks that are available for this event and can be completed. By clicking on the corresponding button, you will get to the detail page of the task.
If you scan the QR code of a task, you will be taken to the detail page of the corresponding task. There you can upload a picture or take one directly and upload it afterwards. The name of the photographer and a short description can be added to the picture.
The images are stored on our servers in a privacy-protected manner and are not accessible to the public. Only the organiser has access to the images uploaded for a task.
You don't have a QR code scanner on your smartphone? No problem, we have thought of that.
In the navigation, under the link "Join in!" you will find the links "Complete task" and "Go to your event". If you click on one of the links, an input mask opens and you can enter the number of an event or task and search for it.
The number of an event or a task is printed on the corresponding printout and leads to the same result as if you were to scan the QR codes.
